Initial Invoicing & Binding Payment
Once enrolled we will send you an invoice and confirmation letter within seven business days. Your first payment must be made prior to the date your coverage goes into effect. If payment for the very first month of coverage becomes overdue, coverage will not begin and you must reenroll.
Maine Community Health Options must receive your payment by the first day of each month of coverage. Payments received after the first day of each month of coverage will be overdue. For example, payments must be received by April 1st in order for your payment to be considered on time for the coverage month of April, 2014.
If you choose the "Bill Me Later" option when completing your enrollment, it could take up to seven business days for an invoice to reach you via mail. Plan accordingly to make your first payment on time.

Once you have enrolled
Once you have completed your enrollment it can take up to three business days for your information to be updated in our systems. If you have made your first payment, you can expect your Member ID card and welcome letter to be mailed within two weeks.
As soon as you receive your Member ID, you can log in to the Member Portal to view your benefit plan summary, select your Primary Care Provider (PCP), print temporary ID cards, and more. To login to the portal, use the Member ID located on your invoice.
