Qualifying events include marriage, divorce, new child and in some instances, a permanent move or loss of other health coverage.
The Marketplace is no longer accepting new applications but for certain changes in circumstances.
Once you have enrolled
Once you have completed your enrollment it can take up to three business days for your information to be updated in our systems. If you have made your first payment, you can expect your Member ID card and welcome letter to be mailed within two weeks.
As soon as you receive your Member ID, you can log in to the Member Portal to view your benefit plan summary, select your Primary Care Provider (PCP), print temporary ID cards, and more.
Maine Community Health Options must receive your payment by the first day of each month of coverage. Payments received after the first day of each month of coverage will be overdue. For example, payments must be received by May1st in order for your payment to be considered on time for the coverage month of May, 2014.
